Open at Kingsmill! The success of the Michelob ULTRA Open is due
in part to the outstanding dedication and support provided by
over 1,500 volunteers. Volunteers assist in many
areas with committee responsibilities occurring
before, during, and after tournament week. If

Schedules
We request that all volunteers commit to a minimum of 24 hours service to the tournament. Most committees are fully operational during professional play, therefore requiring a minimum commitment of 2 weekday shifts in addition to weekend shifts. The schedule varies depending on the committee served, but typically breaks down to approximately 6 hours a day for 4 days.
Uniforms
Volunteers must purchase the required volunteer uniform package at a cost of $65. The 2009 volunteer uniform package consists of the following tournament logo apparel by Adidas: a golf shirt, long-sleeve jacket, and either a cap or a visor. Volunteers must provide their own khaki slacks, which are required to complete the volunteer uniform. Please keep in mind that shorts, capris and cargo pants are not allowed.

Volunteer Appreciation Voucher - To show our appreciation for the many hours of volunteer service, volunteers who complete their 24-hour commitment will receive a Volunteer Appreciation Voucher, redeemable at one of the golf courses or restaurants at Kingsmill Resort & Spa
Special Volunteer Discount on daily tickets as well as a 50% discount on up to (2) Weekly Badges*
An additional Volunteer shirt may be purchased for $25.00 (limit of 1 per person)* New Elements for 2009**
Volunteers who register through our new online system will receive an additional good-any-day daily ticket
Volunteers who complete registration by the deadline will have their name added to a drawing for great prizes
*Discounted volunteer tickets and additional volunteer shirt will be available for purchase during on-line registration. **In order to receive these benefits, a volunteer must be assigned to a committee. They do not apply for those on the wait list.
RETURNING VOLUNTEERS
New for 2009: All volunteers will register through our new online system. Registration for returning volunteers will begin in January 2009. At that time, your committee chairperson from 2008 will invite you to register and will provide you instructions on how to use the new system. Thanks for your continued support! NEW VOLUNTEERS
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for our event! If you would like to apply for the 2009 tournament, please register as a New Volunteer using the new online registration system; your name will be added to the 2009 wait list. Volunteers on the waitlist are asked to not pay for the volunteer uniform until they have been placed on a committee. Please note that placement is based upon availability and is not guaranteed. Recruitment for new volunteers typically begins in February and can last through April.
